August 25th, 2016 denote the National Park Service’s 100th birthday.
As a part of the anniversary, all National Park Service locales that charge an extra charge will offer free admission to everybody on specific dates.
From Aug. 25-28, Sept. 24 and Nov. 11 (Veterans Day), the National Park Service will offer free admission to the general public.
There are more than 400 national parks in the nation, of which 124 regularly charge an extra charge. According to The National Park Service, those expenses range from $3 to $30.

The fee waiver includes entrance fees, commercial tour fees and transportation entrance fees.
