My favorite season is Spring. It’s like a combination of all four seasons in one! Plus of course, you never want to miss the Tulip Festival. If you ever find yourself in Washington state, make sure to visit the Skagit Valley so you don’t miss the vast tulip fields in vibrant colors.
One of the growers, RoozenGaarde, allows visitors to keep track of the bloom status. Visit: http://www.tulips.com/bloommap. Although they are open year round, do your research to make sure you pay a visit right on time.
Year round Gift Store Hours: Monday – Saturday 9am – 6pm. Sundays/Holidays: 11am – 4pm
April Tulip Festival Extended Hours: Monday – Sunday 9am – 7pm
Entrance fee is $7/person. They accept cash or card.
Another reminder: check the weather forecast. Plus if it rained the day before your trip, expect to wear your rain boots when visiting.
