It’s winter time and snow business is booming like crazy! I love sharing this experience as this is my first time trying it and I am wanting for more: snow tubing.
It’s an activity for people of all ages. It was scary at first but when my husband pushed the tube I was riding on out of nowhere, I had no choice but to enjoy that very first moment I see myself sliding all the way down the hill. It was super satisfying and fun (for the lack of a better word).
To save yourself from the long queue at the ticket booth, I suggest buying the tickets online. There are different time slots to choose from:
Tubing Ses #1: 9AM-11AM
Tubing Ses #2: 11:15-13:15
Tubing Ses #3: 13:30-15:30
Tubing Ses #4: 15:45-17:45
Tubing Ses #5: 18:00-20:00
Tubing Ses #6: 20:15-22:15
Online tickets were sold out for the time slot we originally planned of going (11:15-13:15) and since we can’t take anything later, we had to book the first session which starts 9AM. It turned out to be a positive coincidence because parking would be more difficult for late comers.
Snoqualmie Pass also offers Ski and Snowboarding parks. Take note: they don’t allow Sledding! We almost got in trouble because we brought our own sled. If you happen to bring it, leave it in the car.

My toes were getting very cold after about an hour of tubing. So it is recommended that you wear the right snow gear. I saw some people having a hard time because they wore the wrong shoes or boots! If you are sensitive to cold, hand and/or toe warmers would help.
If you wish to enjoy the experience to the fullest, go book in advance, wear the right set of clothes, arrive on time, and slide all you want the moment you get there!
